Created in 1852, Doña Ana County is a county located in the southern part of the state of New Mexico. The County’s mission is to enhance the health, safety, and quality of life for all residents as determined by law and community interests. The Community and Constituent Services Office develops a wide array of outreach programs, including the Countywide Read Across America Day initiative, which also acts as a Career Day for the rural communities. Many of the children who are involved in the Countywide Read Across America program do not have many opportunities to interact with a variety of professionals due to residing in areas of the County that are geographically isolated.

Created in 2008, Elizabeth Academy is committed to providing an authentic inclusive Montessori education to all children from infancy to high school. Elizabeth Academy is the only school in the state of Utah where students with special needs can get all the therapies they need in one location from dedicated and trained specialists. It is the design of Elizabeth Academy that therapists and teachers work together to incorporate classroom curricula with specific support therapies so that these targeted students truly get a fully inclusive education.
HOPECAM - RESTON, VA
Hopecam's mission is to overcome the isolation children with cancer experience using technology to connect them with their schools. Hopecam provides the child with a tablet computer equipped with a webcam, Internet access in the home if the child is without, then work with the child's school to persuade them to establish a regular connection with the child during which the child can participate in classroom activities, and see and talk with their friends.
